Hi Mike,
the issue number of the first «Monster Parade» is very confusing... it had to be «vol. 1 number 1», but the editors decided to name it «volume 2 number 6». Even in the editorial «the old ghoul» writes "In this first issue of Monster Parade..." (quote). I decided to list this issue in the Mad Mags archive as «volume 2 number 6» and NOT as «volume 1 number 1», because this number is used at the «table of contents» page.
I think $2000 is way too much for a VF/NM issue. Do you have any screenshots of auctions or internet links to prove that an issue of Monster Parade #1 was sold for such a high price?

This is really the first issue of monster Parade--NOT Vol. 2, No. 6, as is indicated on the spine of the mag. It is worth much, much more than the values you list. A copy on Fine plus condition would go for well over $500. A VF copy would go up to 2K.
