Publications that are usually only given to journalists are of pure commercial nature. Press releases (Advertising Materials or «Admats») contain short information about the stars, prefabricated movie reviews and advertising campaigns for the print media. Souvenir Magazines arose from movie programs. They are professionally crafted brochures which can be obtained at kiosks at the time of the latest movie releases. Souvenir magazines are one-time publications and don't form series, even if they are from the same publishing house.

For larger movie events special programs are often released that contain short summaries of the presented movies. There are no limits to the size: the diversity of festival programs ranges from onesided flyers to 200 pages long catalogs in form of books.
